The Flash Classic Double Points Race – Diamond BMX

July 31

The Flash posterThe Flash Classic (Double Points) race is the first annual memorial race to be hosted at Diamond BMX. This race is in memory and celebration of Jamie “the Flash” Holtorf – an ex pro BMX rider from Saskatchewan. Jamie raced throughout the 80’s and into the early 90’s until his life was tragically ended too soon. Family and friends of Jamie will be in attendance to share about his life and the history of BMX in our province.

This will be a double points race for all members of Diamond BMX, Globe BMX, and 13th Ave BMX who register by 6pm the night prior. There will also be an open class race for adults that is open to any adult with a BMX and full gear who sign a waiver at check in.

Stick around after the races to enjoy beer gardens and entertainment (children are welcome when accompanied by a parent/guardian) – $2 cover charge. There will also be a raffle table throughout the evening so make sure to bring cash and enter to win some amazing prizes.

The City of Warman offers campgrounds at Prairie Oasis Park (same park as Diamond BMX track) so feel free to book a campsite and make a weekend out of it.

This is a race you do not want to miss!!
