2022 Membership Information
MEMBERSHIP COSTS:
Early Bird Pricing in effect until March 31, 2022:
Ages 3 and up $100 for the season. Refunds available until May 29, 2022.
Regular Season Pricing in effect starting April 1, 2022:
Ages 3 and up: $125 for the season
Ages 3 and 4 (Strider Class): Purchase a General Membership through Saskatchewan Cycling Association
Ages 5 and up: Purchase a Provincial or UCI racing license through Saskatchewan Cycling Association. A provincial license allows riders to race at any club in Saskatchewan. A UCI license allows riders to race in other provinces.
VOLUNTEER/FUNDRAISING BOND:
Diamond BMX will be implementing a volunteer/fundraising bond of $100/rider to be paid at registration. This bond is refundable if families volunteer 10 credits/family and helps ensure that every family can contribute a fair and equal amount of their time back to the club. We kept the requirements low-impact and easy to achieve as we know that families are busy units and volunteering every night isn’t always an option! Check out our Volunteer Info Page for more info.
SASKATCHEWAN CYCLING LICENSE:
As you go through the online registration process you will be prompted to purchase a Diamond BMX Club Membership along with a cycling license/membership from the Saskatchewan Cycling Association. Riders who want to race with Diamond BMX in the cruiser of regular class must purchase:
“In-province/Provincial” or “UCI” license . Strider class only needs to purchase a general membership.
CLASSES OR PROVINCIAL RACE LICENCE:
You will be prompted to choose a rider class in BMX, Cross Country Mountain Bike, Cyclocross, and Road; Select Cat 5 and novice for all categories. This is NOT based on the rider’s general ability, this is a class that has been achieved through collecting Race Day Wins. If this is your first season, you are automatically a Novice. If you have not been contacted by someone at Diamond BMX or Saskatchewan Cycling Association about a class advancement, then you are a Novice.
MEMBERSHIP REFUNDS:
We do not give refunds for memberships and will continue that policy in 2022, however as another incentive to purchase memberships early, we will issue refunds (minus our non refundable fees) for our Early Bird Memberships only until May 29, 2022. All regular season memberships are completely non-refundable. In both circumstances your race license purchased through the Saskatchewan Cycling Association is non refundable as per their policy.
